Where to Start ? Drink More Water.

Where to start? I’ll be the first to admit that it’s really overwhelming trying to determine where to start both in creating this website AND beginning a journey to better health.  When in doubt, start simple – just as long as we start, right?


So my first public post will be about simply drinking water. We are all likely distracted with our unnecessarily busy lives and do not drink enough water. And the best thing we can do for our bodies after a long night’s fast is to hydrate. 


Make a habit to drink 6-8 oz of fresh, filtered, water first thing in the morning. Doing this while your breakfast is being prepared will help hydrate your body, make you feel more alert and help flush out your system.

Some people find benefit from adding fresh lemon to their water. It can be an added source of Vitamin C, and does add flavor, but does not appear to be a miracle detox as it has been hyped. At the very least, I find that added lemon helps me feel refreshed and alert, and that is a great way to get my day started.
